Dog Boarding
Look, I’m a dog, so I have to be honest - I don’t like spending the night away from my human. And I know my human doesn’t want to be away from me either. But sometimes, when your human goes somewhere and you can’t go with them, you need a safe, fun place where people will take care of you. A place like Doggittude™.
Doggittude™ is a stress-free, cozy environment because they only board up to 10 dogs at a time. My human says it’s more like a bed-and-breakfast than a big hotel chain.
Ask your human to bring enough food for your stay. Keeping me on the diet I’m used to makes me less likely to have stomach problems. And tell them to bring any medicine I may need.
If you’re a dog who wants to board at Doggittude™ you need to be comfortable in a daycare environment. Doggittude™ says that instead of being in a kennel or crate we should be running around, making friends and playing with other dogs who are the same size and temperament. Doggittude™ calls that “proper canine socialization,” but I just call it fun. We get the run of the place and when we’re ready for bed we can just bunk down wherever we like.
Ask your human to read the Doggittude™ FAQ for more details. They can also contact Doggittude™ to ask questions - they’re very friendly people!
In-Home Dog Sitting
If you are a dog with special needs or don’t do well in a kennel environment, your human can arrange with Doggittude for in-home overnights to make sure your pets needs are met. Please have your human speak with the staff at Doggittude so we can check our availability for this service.
Cat & Exotic Pet Boarding
As a cat, I initially thought it was crazy to be boarded in a doggie daycare. It seemed like typical human nonsense. So when I heard that a place offering boarding for cats, rabbits, and exotic animals was called “Doggittude,” you can imagine my reaction.
But you know, it turns out it’s not as crazy as it sounds. We’ve got a cozy space in the Doggittude (that name!) office where we don’t have to think about those dogs. There’s someone there all day every day to keep us safe and comfortable, and our little group of guests is small and intimate, just like a human bed-and-breakfast - but for pets instead.
So maybe it’s not as strange as it sounds, even if those crazy humans came up with it.
